Instructor Class

This class is taught using the American Heart Association program standards. This is designed for individuals who would like to be a BLS Instructor. The course is designed to prepare future instructors to teach their student effectively and under the guidelines of the American Heart Association. Reminder: Must have a current BLS Provider Card.

Required Texbook: BLS Instructor Tool Kit.

• Initial Instruction Time:             2 day class
• Renewal Instruction Time:      1 day class
• Certification Period:                  2 years

Note: Submit in advance Instructor Candidate Form, a letter of recommendation, resume and copy of provider card.
