CPR and AED for the Community and Workplace
This class is taught using
the American Safety & Health Institute program standards.
It is designed for individuals who do not work in
the healthcare field but are occupationally required
or just desire to have CPR knowledge and skills,
such as emergency response teams in business and
industry, school bus drivers, adult residential
care personnel, child care workers, teachers, parents
and babysitters.

Textbook: ASHI CPR/AED for the Community and Workplace
Student Handbook (one per participant)

Instruction Time:
2 hours for either Adult, Child or Infant 5
hours for all ages
- Renewal
Instruction Time: half of initial
instruction time.

BLS for Healthcare Provider
This class is taught using
the American Heart Association program standard.
This is designed for Healthcare professionals who
require certification for their occupation. Adult,
Child and Infant CPR with chocking intervention
will be discussed. AED and use of BVM is also included.
